Is little Uzay the son of Hacı Sabancı? The court has reached a verdict

DNA samples from the young child named Uzay matched those taken from Hacı Sabancı; the Council of Forensic Medicine report determined that Uzay is the son of Hacı Sabancı.

FINAL HEARING HELD

According to the report in Odatv; following the release of the DNA results, the final hearing of the paternity suit was held today (February 25) at the Istanbul 16th Family Court.

F.D. submitted the DNA report provided by the Council of Forensic Medicine to the court and requested that the case be accepted.

Hacı Sabancı’s lawyer, however, claimed that the DNA report obtained from the Council of Forensic Medicine was unreliable, stating, "The report is not suitable for review, and it is unclear how the conclusion was reached. The 99.9 percent match rate in the report is not sufficient," and requested the dismissal of the case.

THE COURT HAD THE FINAL WORD

After hearing the final statements of the parties, the court reached its verdict.

The Istanbul 16th Family Court decided to accept the case and ruled that little Uzay is the son of Hacı Sabancı.

PUBLICATION BAN TO CONTINUE

Furthermore, the court sent a reminder letter to RTÜK for the continuation of the publication ban regarding the case.
