Merve Taşkın, who was placed under house arrest, recounts her experience during detention

OnlyFans platform celebrity Merve Taşkın, known for sharing explicit content, became a trending topic with an announcement she posted on her X account for Valentine's Day on February 14.

Taşkın had stated that she could have dinner with those who were alone on February 14, listed her criteria, and noted that she was requesting 400,000 TL for this.

Following this post, Taşkın was reported to CİMER (Presidential Communication Center) and made another post, stating, "You are reporting me to CİMER. I don't think having dinner is a crime. If they wish, we can have dinner with the police as well."

Taşkın was later detained on charges of 'obscenity'. After her statement, her lawyer Feyza Altun shared on her X account, "Merve Taşkın is released with judicial control measures."

"THERE WERE TURKS IN THE NIGHTCLUB TOO"

"I was taken from my home, brought to the Gayrettepe Public Security Branch Directorate, and my statement was taken. (The police officers were very polite, I thank them all here)," the influencer wrote:

"After my statement, I spent one night in a cold, stuffy, and unhygienic-looking holding cell. (I was cold.) Around 05:00 in the morning, Iranian girls who were rounded up from a nightclub were also brought in with me.

One of the girls was initially crying because she had ended up in the holding cell. However, when she learned that I was Turkish and was there because of social media, she started to laugh. When she realized there was a Turk inside, she told the people next to her:

'If a Turk is doing this to a Turk, why should I cry?' she said. There were also Turks from the nightclub, and their statements were taken as well. Afterward, they were released. One of them asked me, "Why are you being kept here?"

"SOMEONE TELL ME THIS IS A PRANK"

"The next day I was taken to the Çağlayan Courthouse," the influencer Taşkın continued:

"The prosecutor to whom I gave my statement there was also a smiling, polite person. However, unexpectedly, they feinted left and hit from the right, and requested my arrest.

I appeared before the judge for the hearing, and a decision for house arrest was made. It is not yet clear how long the sentence will last. Please, someone tell me, 'We played a prank on you, none of this is real'..."
