Nilperi Şahinkaya reveals how much she earned from her first series: 'Is that possible now?'

Actress Nilperi Şahinkaya, who gained widespread recognition by playing the character 'Mesude' in the series 'Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki', which ran from 2010 to 2013, has revealed her weekly earnings from that period.

Journalist Fatih Altaylı's questions were answered by Nilperi Şahinkaya, who said the following when asked by Altaylı whether she earned good money from series:

'Either you sacrifice money for a role you really want, or they pay a lot for a role you don't really want...'

'In my first job (Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki), I was getting 2 thousand liras per episode. I was earning 8 thousand liras a month. I moved into a perfectly decent house with my own money. I was doing everything with that money; is it possible now? No. That also makes one very sad.'

Nilperi Şahinkaya currently plays the character of Özlem in the series Kral Kaybederse, which is broadcast on Star TV and Netflix. Özlem is Handan's closest friend, a beautiful, attractive, and successful woman.
