Reza Zarrab's wedding in Florida causes a stir: Response from Demet Akalın, who was alleged to have attended
Reza Zarrab, known for bribery and corruption allegations, has returned to the spotlight with a lavish wedding in Miami. A response from Demet Akalın, who was alleged to have attended the wedding, was not long in coming.
Iranian-born businessman Reza Zarrab, who was imprisoned in the US and is known for charges including bribery and money laundering, has tied the knot with 35-year-old assistant attorney Dilara Altıntop in Miami, Florida.
The wedding, which took place at the historic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, enforced a dress code of gowns for women and tuxedos for men.
Following the wedding, guests were hosted on a luxury yacht. However, it was learned that phones were collected during the event and photography was strictly prohibited.
It was claimed that famous names such as Demet Akalın, İbrahim Tatlıses, and Derya Tuna were among the 150 guests invited to the wedding.
DEMET AKALIN DENIES
Following the rumors spreading on social media, Demet Akalın categorically denied the allegations in a statement on her Twitter account.
Akalın stated, "I am on a routine Miami vacation with my friends; I was not at any wedding! Oh, stop making news like you've gone crazy, enough is enough!"
''I AM ON EBRU GÜNDEŞ'S SIDE''
Reza Zarrab divorced Ebru Gündeş four years ago and changed his name to Aaron Goldsmith. Recently expressing her loyalty to Gündeş, Demet Akalın had declared, "I am on Ebru Gündeş's side, my stance is clear," and shared a photo taken with Gündeş.
