Sad post from singer Şimal, whose cancer has metastasized

Famous singer Şimal has been battling health issues in recent years.

Şimal, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 and regained her health after a long treatment process, learned that she had a brain tumor during a routine check-up at the hospital last January.

Following an 8-hour operation, Şimal, who had begun treatment and shared the good news of her recovery shortly after, announced in a social media post that her cancer had metastasized.

The famous singer, whose illness has metastasized, shared the moments she shaved her hair on her social media account.

In her post, Şimal used the following expressions:

"The two of us, two buddies, are on a new adventure again. Well, it's not easy; we've been battling cancer for 4 years. Actually, I can say that our strongest stance has been during this latest metastasis. It has taught us something at every stage."

We no longer let it upset us; on the contrary, we make fun of it. My hair has fallen out, my eyebrows and eyelashes have fallen out, none of it matters in the slightest. Healthier ones are coming in, just between us.

The continuation of the statement included in the singer's post is as follows;

"We laugh at everything he has put us through. Trust in God, this too shall pass just like the others. Oh, watch your thoughts. Morale is very important. The more you say you are sick, the more you get sick; the more you say you are bad, the worse you get (Experience is speaking)."

Şimal concluded her words as follows:

Although it is thought that it is difficult for hormone-positive cancer to metastasize to the brain, as someone who has experienced this twice, my advice to you is that if you have a severe headache and painkillers do not relieve it, consult your oncologist and have a contrast-enhanced MRI."

Because most of the messages I receive say, ‘Sister, we heard it from you, we went out of fear and had a contrast-enhanced MRI, and a tumor was found in my brain too.’ I am very saddened; may God help us all, which is why early diagnosis is so important.

In a post she shared last August, Şimal had made the following statement regarding her health condition:

Please understand me too; as a whole family, we are devastated. Just when we thought we had recovered, it happened again... In short, and unfortunately, this illness has caught me again."
