Selen Görgüzel reveals on live broadcast! 'I was subjected to violence'

The marriage between director Hamdi Alkan and actress and singer Selen Görgüzel, which began in 2014, ended in 2022. The director had applied to the court through his lawyer, filing for a consensual divorce from his wife on the grounds of the "irretrievable breakdown of the marital union."

Participating in the 'Pembe Masa' program, famous actor Hamdi Alkan shared a striking clause from the divorce agreement he made with Selen Görgüzel.

Answering Özlem Esra Ada's questions regarding his divorce process with Selen Görgüzel, Hamdi Alkan had also made statements about the notable clause in their separation agreement.

Alkan had stated, "Yes, there is such a clause. After relationships end, people practically bring out their claws. The statements and posts made become permanent on social media. In the future, when your children see this news, they can be affected. We added such a clause to prevent this. The person who speaks about the other party will pay a 1 million TL penalty."

VIOLENCE REVELATION

Actress and singer Selen Görgüzel participated in the Gel Konuşalım program on TV8. Görgüzel described the violence she experienced in the past during the live broadcast with these words:

"I did, I experienced psychological violence from my last spouse. I had to remain silent at that time; people usually remain silent. I also remained very quiet. I experienced something serious with my brother; I was subjected to his violence. It was such a major incident that I needed to seek justice. I am revealing this here for the first time. I don't want to share much about this because you wouldn't have the heart to, and I didn't either. But afterwards, you can experience much heavier things. I don't want to talk about this anymore. I have no situation regarding prohibited substances. My brother was the person I loved most in the world, but we are not in contact right now. There wasn't a major problem between us, but I couldn't forgive him."
