Kerimcan Durmaz took the stage as a DJ at a concert organized for the promotion of a betting site.

Following the emergence of the footage, social media influencer Kerimcan Durmaz, who was detained as part of the "encouraging illegal betting" investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been arrested.

Following Kerimcan Durmaz's arrest, his close friend Selin Ciğerci went to her friend's family home.

Ciğerci made a statement there but struggled to speak due to crying.

Ciğerci, who is also facing investigations herself, said, "Kerimcan did not accept it when he saw the advertisement in the background while going on stage. Artists should pay attention to the LED screens in the background. Later, he realizes the situation at the hotel; he doesn't share the advertisements playing behind him, he continues his life. That's it! It's neither betting nor anything else.
