The doyenne of Turkish pop music, Sezen Aksu, has returned to the studio after 5 years due to intense demand from her fans. Preparing to celebrate her 70th birthday, the artist has completed her new album, which she titled "Paşa Gönlümün Şarkıları".

Sezen Aksu has added great significance to the album by interpreting a song by Ferdi Tayfur, who passed away on January 2.

Although they were representatives of two different musical genres, the mutual respect they held for each other for many years was well known. It was known that Sezen Aksu loved Ferdi Tayfur's works and wanted to interpret them, and in a post she made following the master artist's passing, she stated, "Thank you for all the beauty you added to our lives, Ferdi Tayfur… We will miss you."

The release date for the album is planned for February 14, Valentine's Day.
