She believed she was dating Brad Pitt: Her world came crashing down!

In France, a 53-year-old woman named Anne experienced the shock of her life after receiving a message on Facebook in February 2023.

The sender of the message was a scammer claiming to be the famous actor Brad Pitt.

After messaging for months, Anne believed the fake Brad Pitt and divorced her millionaire husband to marry him.

The scammer first requested a small payment from Anne, taking 9,000 dollars under the pretext of customs fees.

Then, claiming he was undergoing cancer treatment and could not use his own money because he was in the process of divorcing Angelina Jolie, he took another 800,000 euros from the woman.

PRODUCED FAKE PHOTOS WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

To gain her trust, the scammer used artificial intelligence to send fake photos and videos showing Brad Pitt lying in a hospital bed.

However, Anne realized she had been scammed when she saw the real Brad Pitt with his girlfriend on a news program.

Realizing the situation, Anne filed a complaint against the fake Pitt, and an investigation into the scammer was launched.
