Singer Şimal, who overcame breast cancer in 2022, learned that she had a brain tumor during a routine check-up at the hospital last January.

The famous singer, who was taken into surgery, had undergone an 8-hour operation.

Şimal, who announced that she had recovered shortly after her surgery, had seen her cancer metastasize.

"THIS ILLNESS HAS CAUGHT ME AGAIN"

Şimal had explained her health condition on her social media account with these words:

"My friends, I was very hesitant about sharing this news, but my inbox is overflowing. You all wondered, quite rightly, when you didn't hear from me. Please understand me too; as a whole family, we are devastated. Just when we thought we had recovered, it happened again... In short, and unfortunately, this illness has caught me again."

The singer continued her words by saying, "This time, it has metastasized to my meninges. What makes us happy is that we caught it early. The treatments will begin on Monday, and my oncologist will strengthen the medication. God willing, I will return to you all again. As always, I will be waiting for your prayers. I would like to thank everyone who called, asked after me, and gave me strength with their messages in advance. Take care of your health!"

"MORALE IS VERY IMPORTANT"

The famous singer, who is continuing her treatment, recently shared the moments she shaved her hair with her followers.

Şimal had said, "We are laughing at everything it makes us experience. Trust in God, this too shall pass like the others. Oh, watch your thoughts. Morale is very important. The more you say 'I am sick,' the more it makes you sick; the more you say 'I am bad,' the worse you get (experience is speaking). Because most of the messages I receive are, 'Sister, we heard it from you, we got scared and went to get an MRI with contrast, and a tumor was found in my brain too.'
