Tarkan bids farewell to his mother: He could not hold back his tears

Famous singer Tarkan's mother, Neşe Tevetoğlu, passed away due to a heart attack at the hospital where she had been receiving treatment for some time. Tarkan, who was in Germany for his European tour, arrived in Istanbul urgently yesterday as soon as he received the news.

Tarkan's mother, Neşe Tevetoğlu, will be laid to rest at the Maltepe Cemetery following the noon prayer to be held at the Maltepe Cumhuriyet Mosque.

Tarkan and his wife, Pınar Tevetoğlu, are accepting condolences.

SECURITY MEASURES TAKEN

Extensive security measures were taken at the Maltepe Cumhuriyet Mosque and its surroundings, where the funeral ceremony is taking place. While the artist's relatives and loved ones formed a large crowd, artist Zerrin Özer also attended the funeral ceremony of Tarkan's mother.

Neşe Tevetoğlu had received treatment at a private hospital in 2020 due to a vascular occlusion in her leg.

Tevetoğlu had also been receiving treatment for health issues in her leg since December 2024.
