The amount Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil received for illegal betting revealed

Sixteen people, including famous showman Mehmet Ali Erbil and famous singer Serdar Ortaç, were detained on November 11 on allegations of participating in and promoting illegal betting advertisements.

İbrahim Yılmaz, Emirhan Karuç, Aleyna Göreci, Emircan Çelik, Ramazan Karkin, Aleksandr Menshikov, Muhammed Sümertaş, Esma Sözen, Soner Kabakçı, Yağmur Şifa Yaprak, Sefa Caner Sarıçam, and Muzaffer Zorbey Erkoçlar were arrested following their court hearings.

For Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil, a judicial control decision in the form of "house arrest" was issued.

REQUEST FOR ARREST

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office objected to the "house arrest" decision given to presenter Mehmet Ali Erbil and singer Serdar Ortaç in the illegal betting investigation and requested their arrest.

In statements made to members of the press upon leaving the courthouse, Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil claimed they had gone to the island of Malta for a hotel opening and that they were unaware of the illegal betting activities.

Erbil, who also disclosed the offer made to him, stated that he was offered 20-25 thousand euros in exchange for broadcasting, but that he did not accept this offer.

THE MONEY THEY RECEIVED REVEALED

Journalist Emrullah Erdinç, on the "Manşet 15" program hosted by Remziye Demirkol on Halk TV, alleged that Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil went to the island knowingly and received 100 thousand TL in return.

Erdinç used the following expressions during the live broadcast;

''They said we have nothing to do with illegal betting, but that is not the case.

Because someone comes here and invites them there. They say, 'We will invite you to a hotel, you will have your vacation, all your expenses will be covered, and in return, you will be given money equivalent to 100 thousand TL.

In return for this, they will also film a video with you.'

Actually, they went there knowing this. While going there, Serdar Ortaç's purpose was to explain a section of the illegal betting site there.

Serdar Ortaç went there only to explain the gambling section.

Mehmet Ali Erbil, on the other hand, is advertising illegal betting.

This is done in a planned manner.

As can be understood from the video, Ortaç and Erbil were aware.

The people who called them were already calling them for this purpose, and money was paid into their accounts in this sense.
