Tuğçe Tayfur makes decision regarding store following Ferdi Tayfur's death

Ferdi Tayfur, one of the legendary names of Turkish music, passed away on January 2 due to liver and kidney failure. Shortly before his passing, he had been involved in a legal dispute with his daughter, Tuğçe Tayfur.

Tuğçe Tayfur had been sued by her father over the clothing store she opened with her husband, Muhammet Aydın, a situation that led to the deterioration of the relationship between the father and daughter. It has been learned that shortly after Ferdi Tayfur's death, Tuğçe Tayfur closed the store.

WHY DID FERDİ TAYFUR AND HIS DAUGHTER TUĞÇE TAYFUR FALL OUT?

The disagreement between the father and daughter began with Tuğçe Tayfur's marriage. Ferdi Tayfur had opposed his daughter's marriage to Muhammet Aydın and did not attend the wedding.

However, the major crisis erupted when Tuğçe Tayfur used her father's surname as a commercial trademark. Ferdi Tayfur, through his lawyer Hakan Tamgüç, issued a statement on social media calling on his daughter to "stop using my surname."

DID HE DEMAND 50 MILLION TL?

Allegations that Ferdi Tayfur had demanded 50 million TL from his daughter or requested a 58 percent stake for the right to use the surname hit the agenda like a bombshell.

Tuğçe Tayfur reacted to this situation by making the following statement:

"This is my own father's surname. And you are asking me for 50 million for this? Or if not 50 million, you want a 58 percent stake?"

This statement caused the ties between the father and daughter to be completely severed.

NECLA NAZIR HAD ALSO GOTTEN INVOLVED

Necla Nazır, Ferdi Tayfur's ex-wife and Tuğçe Tayfur's mother, had intervened sharply in the dispute.

Nazır expressed her reaction with the words, "What did my child do? What did she do to any of you? Because she made you quit being her manager? Should I explain the reasons too? Don't make me talk. I am at the end of my patience..."

She also blamed those around Ferdi Tayfur, saying, "I will not let my child's and my grandchildren's livelihood be eaten by the nephews around you. What kind of situation did they put you in, were you such a person? They have declared you a father who is an enemy to his own child."

EMOTIONAL FAREWELL FROM TUĞÇE TAYFUR

Despite being in a legal battle with her father, Tuğçe Tayfur made an emotional post after Ferdi Tayfur's passing. Sharing a photo of her father taken years ago, Tuğçe Tayfur used the following expressions:

"Remember my father like this. With his eyes smiling, happy, full of life... He became your father as much as he was mine and my siblings', perhaps even more. He was not the prince of arabesque, but the king. After his first illness, he did not want to appear before you, saying 'let my fans remember me as I was in my films and music videos,' and he withdrew into seclusion. That is why he did not want his final images to be reflected in the media, and I am sure you will be sure of that too."

While expressing her love for her father in her post, Tuğçe Tayfur stated that she was not detailing the events for now, adding, "I know you want an explanation. I can only tell you this: my father smiled at me one last time, and I said goodbye to my father with a smile on his rosy cheeks, and I sent him off. I would have loved to tell you about the last fatherly act my father did for me... Maybe one day... Now the only thing he needs is prayer..."
