Unspeakable remarks from Aşkım Kapışmak to İlber Ortaylı! 'You're comfortable, just call the public ignorant...'

Behavioral Sciences Specialist Aşkım Kapışmak held a Q&A session with his followers on his social media account.

Kapışmak used very harsh expressions in response to a follower's question about İlber Ortaylı.

A follower wrote to Aşkım Kapışmak, "İlber Ortaylı constantly says 'young people, travel the world, see new places, you are ignorant,' but I have no money."

Kapışmak then lashed out at İlber Ortaylı.

Kapışmak reacted to the 77-year-old historian by saying, "You are living for free. Take a 300-400 thousand [TL] appearance fee from everywhere you go, and call the nation ignorant from where you sit..."

"WHO ARE YOU, MY FRIEND?"

Kapışmak, who lashed out at İlber Ortaylı—whom he accused of belittling and looking down on the nation—by asking, "Who are you, my friend?", stated, "This giving of advice by the rich and the elite!.. A person's reading, self-improvement, knowing 4-5 languages, and traveling the world is related to family and childhood traumas. Are you aware of the conditions under which these young people are born and raised?"

Addressing Ortaylı by asking, "Do you have any idea about the price of a coffee?", Aşkım Kapışmak continued his words as follows:

"You are living for free. Take a 300-400 thousand [TL] appearance fee from everywhere you go, and from where you sit, with your rear comfortable, call the nation ignorant!

Then laugh and roll on the floor. You can have all the knowledge you want, but if you have no wisdom, I have no respect for any of you. These young people need opinion leaders who possess wisdom, friends."
