Star TV's new series Sen Ağlama İstanbul meets the audience with its first episode on Tuesday, December 10. While Çağrı Vila Lostuvalı takes on the role of director, the screenplay is written by Pelin Gülcan, Lara Bulut Tecim, and Batuhan Özbay.

In the series, which is set in Istanbul and tells of an impossible love, Şehrazat, a strong and hopeful young woman studying at medical school, dreams of a happy future with her lover Ferhat, but Ferhat being sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit will change their lives completely.

Şehrazat desperately asks for help from Büyükbey, who is famous for his dark powers, to save the man she loves from the gallows. However, there is a fact she is unaware of: no help provided by Büyükbey comes without a price.

When the unhappy marriage of Büyükbey's daughter Şirin and his nephew Kubat combines with the plan Büyükbey makes to protect his empire, everyone's life will change drastically, and nothing will ever be the same again.
