Will Orhan Gencebay's Bosphorus-view mansion be sold? Inside his luxury home revealed
Claims have emerged that Orhan Gencebay is set to sell his Bosphorus-view mansion apartment in Baltalimanı for 107 million Turkish Lira. However, his wife, Sevim Emre, denied these reports, explaining that the situation involves a land issue.
Legendary Turkish music figure Orhan Gencebay has made headlines with claims that he has put his luxury apartment, located right on the Bosphorus, up for sale.
It was reported that Gencebay, who is asking for 107 million TL for the 160-square-meter apartment with four rooms and a living room, has recently been bothered by the crowds in the neighborhood, especially on weekends.
COMPLAINED ABOUT THE CROWDS
His wife, Sevim Emre, had previously stated that such a change was on the agenda, saying, "If Orhan finds a bigger house with a better view, then we will move."
When previously asked about it, Gencebay had said, "It is impossible to drive here on weekends. Thank God the venues are close by so we can walk. Istanbul is growing every day; it has become more crowded than some countries."
SEVİM EMRE DENIED THE CLAIMS
The house, which was rumored to be on sale for 107 million, sparked curiosity. While photos of the home with its luxurious details resurfaced, Sevim Emre spoke to magazinn and said, "It was also written that we are selling the house; that is a complete lie! It is a matter concerning a land plot."
Orhan Gencebay's home is located in one of Istanbul's most prestigious neighborhoods.
The apartment's dazzling Bosphorus view also attracts the interest of potential buyers.
