It has emerged that Yeşilçam star Güngör Bayrak has been diagnosed with cancer and is receiving treatment at a private hospital.
Bayrak had previously received treatment for a pancreatic condition in recent years, after which her pancreas was surgically removed.
Güngör Bayrak played the character of Şeref Şadoğlu in the series Gümüş, which aired between 2005 and 2007.
Throughout her acting career spanning over 50 years, Bayrak has taken part in numerous unforgettable projects.
