Metin Şenay, who abducted 11-year-old M.Y. from school last year, took her to his water shop in Bağcılar, and sexually abused her, will appear before a judge on May 7.

The famous star said, "Years ago, while demanding justice for Özgecan on live television, I said that laws needed to change and that much harsher penalties should be imposed for femicides and child abuse. Years have passed, and the only thing that has changed is the scale of the brutality! More women have been killed, more children have been raped!
If a pervert who has raped an untold number of children for years can do these things fearlessly, it means there is a major problem! We will only succeed when we take these perverts and murderers out of the 'nothing will happen to me' mindset and give them the punishments they deserve!
