'WE ARE DETERMINED TO PROTECT THE UNITY OF OUR FAMILY'

Following the news of the divorce, Suzan Sabancı made the following statement to Bülent Cankurt from Günaydın:

"After a colorful 28-year marriage filled with love and respect, we have decided to end this union after careful consideration and consultation with our children. Moving forward, we are determined to protect the unity of our immediate family. We ask our friends and loved ones who care for us to respect this decision of ours."
