Haluk Levent's decision regarding February 6
Following the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, Haluk Levent had taken 282 people to court over social media posts containing insults, slander, and profanity. In a post on X, Levent stated, "As we approach the holiday, I wanted our common ground to be peace and brotherhood. Today, I have withdrawn all my lawsuits."
Haluk Levent remained in the spotlight for a long time due to the aid he provided following the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquakes. After the earthquakes, he had taken 282 people to court for making insulting posts on social media.
Haluk Levent announced that he had withdrawn the lawsuits in his latest post with the following words:
"My legal process had begun against 282 people regarding 11,224 tweets containing insults, slander, and profanity following February 6. I had already received compensation from 14 cases. As we approach the holiday, I wanted our common ground to be peace and brotherhood. We need this. Today, I have withdrawn all my lawsuits."
