Hande Erçel describes the character she plays, Aslı, by saying, "Aslı is a girl who gave up on herself when her mother abandoned her and her father at a very young age. Barış Arduç defines the character he plays, Ege, with the words, "Ege has a wonderful life. He spreads out on the sands and the seas. Although he seems to have coped with his troubles, he is in the midst of many problems he cannot overcome. However, the day comes when the place where he has built his whole world is threatened to be occupied by a monster."
