The film Rüzgara Bırak, in which Hande Erçel stars alongside Barış Arduç, was released on Netflix on February 14. Hande Erçel shared behind-the-scenes photos with the caption, 'A little spoiler never hurt anyone, right?'

The Netflix account responded to Hande Erçel's post with the comment, 'The best spoiler I've ever received, thank you.'

Hande Erçel describes the character she plays, Aslı, by saying, "Aslı is a girl who gave up on herself when her mother abandoned her and her father at a very young age. Life has put her in such a position that she has perhaps stopped dreaming, shifted into a robotic life system, and is a character who does not live her own emotions and experiences things very superficially. She faces the things she has forgotten and shows a very beautiful transformation."

Barış Arduç defines the character he plays, Ege, with the words, "Ege has a wonderful life. He spreads out on the sands and the seas. Although he seems to have coped with his troubles, he is in the midst of many problems he cannot overcome. However, the day comes when the place where he has built his whole world is threatened to be occupied by a monster."

When asked, "Do you have any similarities with Aslı?", Hande Erçel replied, "I am not like Aslı. I have nothing in common with her. I am on the side of Aslı's transformation."
