Starting her acting career in 2013 with the series 'Tatar Ramazan', Hande Erçel responded to those criticizing her on social media for the first time.

Erçel said, "These are subjective things. There is a state of being targeted on every subject. I am being targeted both for my acting and my private life. I don't know the reason for this and I am very tired. I have been in the industry for many years, I have put in the effort. I want to do and try things that I can push myself with. I love doing this profession," she said.

Speaking to Aramızda Kalmasın, the famous actress stated, "Some of the criticism is upsetting, some of it I don't really care about. It's not my first year in the profession, I don't think I deserve this. People are targeting me."

WHO IS HANDE ERÇEL?

Hande Erçel was born in 1993 in Balıkesir. She graduated from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts.

Erçel participated in the Miss Cilivaliton of the World pageant held in 2012 and came in second in the competition held in Azerbaijan. She began her acting career in 2014 with the series "Çılgın Dershane Üniversitede". In 2014, while playing the character (Selin Karahanlı) in the series "Hayat Ağacı", she acted alongside İdil Fırat, Fikret Kuşkan, Onur Saylak, Özge Özberk, and Kenan Bal.

Hande Erçel played the character "Selin Yılmaz" in the 2015 series "Güneşin Kızları". The cast of the series included names such as Emre Kınay, Evrim Alasya, Kanat Heparı, Tolga Sarıtaş, Berk Atan, Miray Akay, Sarpcan Köroğlu, Burcu Özberk, Sarper Arda, Meltem Gülenç, and Teoman Kumbaracıbaşı.

Between 2017 and 2020, she continued her training with the Harika Uygur Chubbuck workshop, acting coach Merve Taşkan, and theater director-coach İbrahim Çiçek.
