Hande Erçel, who shares the lead role with Burak Deniz in the series Bambaşka Biri, responded to the question "Are you affected by negative criticism?" at an event she attended.

Erçel replied, "I want to answer this through my character. Leyla and many strong female characters fight hard to exist in their own worlds. Unfortunately, I also fight hard to exist in my profession in my country.

When we watch them, we say 'what a beautiful character,' but when we see someone from real life, we don't support them; we criticize them. These criticisms sometimes upset me, but it is my 10th year in the profession. I am very happy with where I am at this point."
