Hasan Can Kaya to Cem Yılmaz: 'We joked, it's over'
Hasan Can Kaya's reference to his colleague Cem Yılmaz as a 'veteran comedian' had sparked a debate. The back-and-forth between the two comedians remained on the agenda for some time. Kaya responded to a question about Yılmaz by saying, "We joked, it's over."
Comedian Cem Yılmaz poked fun at the program 'Konuşanlar' and comedian Hasan Can Kaya during his sold-out stand-up show titled 'CMXXIV'.
When audience members told Yılmaz, "We came from Gebze," Yılmaz replied, "Hasan Can Kaya's shows have been postponed."
Following this, Yılmaz made a jab at Kaya, referencing his use of profanity.
'I WATCHED IT, BUT IT DIDN'T WORK'
Hasan Can Kaya had responded to Cem Yılmaz's jab by saying, "Cem Yılmaz from the veteran comedians league has entered the game in my place. I watched it, but it didn't work; he misunderstood the issue. He couldn't pull it off."
Hasan Can Kaya, who has been in the spotlight for some time, answered questions from reporters as he left a venue the other evening.
'I SPEAK WITH LOVE'
The famous comedian, who has made a name for himself with 'Konuşanlar', stated, "I speak with great respect and love regarding my senior comedians. I mean, it's already a beautiful profession; everyone is happy with their own audience. It's not an area where people compete like in football, a sports branch, or Survivor; it's not an area where competition is necessary. It's in good taste, I think we joked, it's over. Honestly, that's how I look at the situation."
