Singer Simge, who performs the song "Aşkın Olayım" (I'll Be Your Love), which has become synonymous with Galatasaray's Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, has made notable remarks.

Following the news of Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi's divorce, comments Simge made about Icardi last February have resurfaced.

In her statement, Simge had said, "If a song about being handsome is to be sung, it should be sung to Icardi. He is one of the most handsome footballers I have ever seen. Whatever is said about him is fitting."
