Health Ministry issues warning on cosmetic products
The Ministry of Health has issued important warnings regarding makeup products.
The Ministry of Health's Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) has warned citizens regarding the "safe use of cosmetic products." The Ministry provided the following recommendations:

Store at room temperature!
Unless otherwise specified on the packaging, cosmetic products should not be exposed to direct sunlight, extreme heat, or extreme cold, and should be stored at room temperature.
Products in powder form (powders, eyeshadows, blushes, etc.) should not be kept in excessively humid environments such as bathrooms; no cosmetic product should be diluted with water or other substances, and products should not be mixed with one another.
Do not use spoiled products!
Physical changes in the mixture that makes up a cosmetic product, such as drying out or changes in color, odor, appearance, or consistency, are signs of spoilage.
Stay away from illicit production!
Our recommendation to consumers is to stay away from illicitly produced cosmetic products, which can be identified by prices lower than the original, and to obtain products from known retail outlets to ensure access to safe products.
