Good news has arrived for actor Ufuk Özkan, who has been receiving treatment in the hospital for some time due to liver failure. The information that a suitable donor has been found was shared by his brother, Umut Özkan, via social media.

According to the information obtained, the person who will donate a liver to Özkan is cinematographer Salih Kıvırcık, with whom he has worked previously.

In the video he shared, Umut Özkan stated that the process is progressing positively and used the following expressions:

"I would like to share a positive development with you regarding my brother Ufuk's liver transplant process. Thank God, we can say that we are nearing the end of our search for a donor. As of now, the process is progressing 90 percent positively. If everything continues to go well, we will share the final result with you along with our doctors on Monday. On behalf of both my brother and our family, we sincerely thank everyone who has stood by us with their hearts, prayers, and good wishes, and who have made us feel that they are by my brother's side with their sincerity and support during this time."
