Hospital statement regarding Hakan Taşıyan's health status
Artist Hakan Taşıyan is being treated in intensive care at the hospital where he was admitted due to a suspected heart attack; it has been announced that his health condition is good.
Hakan Taşıyan, a well-known name in Arabesque music, was admitted to Etlik City Hospital yesterday due to a health issue. While it was alleged that Taşıyan had suffered a heart attack, an official statement regarding the famous artist's condition was made following an assessment by the medical team.
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Mücahit Balcı, Administrative Head of the Cardiology Clinic, provided information to members of the press regarding Hakan Taşıyan's health status at the hospital. Prof. Dr. Balcı reassured the public by stating, “Following the necessary clinical and laboratory evaluations, he has been considered low-risk from a cardiological perspective and has been placed under observation in the coronary intensive care unit as a precautionary measure.”
Reminding that Taşıyan had previously undergone liver and kidney transplants, Prof. Dr. Balcı said, “Currently, because there is an elevation in his kidney function tests, this process is being treated meticulously in a multidisciplinary manner, and the necessary medical follow-up process is being carried out. The patient's general condition is quite good, and his vital signs are stable. His treatment is currently continuing within our hospital.”
Providing information regarding the discharge process, Balcı said, “Because we are approaching this in a multidisciplinary way, we make this decision by consulting with other departments every day. But his general condition is quite good, we can say that. Of course, it is a decision we will make jointly with other departments, but we can say that he will be discharged in the near future. Since our patient is a kidney and liver transplant recipient, we do not deem it appropriate for any visitors to come. We especially request everyone to be meticulous regarding this matter.”
