How and where do working mothers receive caregiver support? How much will the payment be?
The Ministry of Labor and Social Security has implemented a new regulation for millions of working mothers in Turkey. Within the scope of the Project for Supporting Registered Women's Employment Through the Promotion of Educated Child Caregivers II (EDU-CARE II), mothers' participation in registered employment is being encouraged. This system supports insured and trained child caregivers, enabling working mothers to receive a monthly allowance. So, how can working mothers benefit from caregiver support, and how much will this support be?
Caregiver support is being offered to mothers with children. Within the framework of the Project for Supporting Registered Women's Employment Through the Promotion of Educated Child Caregivers II (EDU-CARE II), working, single, or mothers with children with special needs will be provided with support ranging from 255 euros to 510 euros for a period of 20 months.

STATE SUPPORT FOR WORKING MOTHERS
Within the scope of the 'Project for Supporting Registered Women's Employment Through the Promotion of Educated Child Caregivers II (EDU-CARE II)', carried out with the financial support of the EU, working or single mothers will be paid different amounts for 20 months.
A total budget of 15 million 295 thousand 329 Turkish Lira and 60 kuruş has been allocated for the project, which will be implemented in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir as of 2025.
HOW MUCH MONTHLY SUPPORT WILL WORKING MOTHERS RECEIVE?
In the project to be implemented in Ankara, Istanbul, and Izmir, payments will be made every month to mothers whose applications are accepted. The monthly support amounts will be as follows:
510 euros (18,926 TL) for full-time working mothers
560 euros (20,779 TL) for single mothers or mothers with children with special needs
255 euros (9,462 TL) for part-time working mothers
305 euros (11,317 TL) for single part-time working mothers or part-time working mothers with children with special needs

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR BENEFITING FROM THE SUPPORT?
The conditions required for mothers who want to benefit from the project are as follows:
The child must be 0-24 months old at the time of application for pre-registration.
Must be a resident in one of the provinces of Ankara, Istanbul, or Izmir.
Must live in the same house as the child.
If a single mother, she must have custody of the child and live in the same house as the child.
Must be working full-time or part-time for an employer by the date of final registration.
Full-time employees must employ an educated child caregiver on a full-time insured basis; part-time employees must employ their caregiver on a part-time insured basis.
Must not be on maternity leave during the project period.
The caregiver's salary must be paid at least at the minimum wage level (for part-time employees, this amount must be half of the minimum wage).
Part-time employees are required to work at least 10 days a month with insurance.
