3 cups fine semolina
2.5 cups sugar
350 g butter or margarine if you prefer
2.5 cups milk
2.5 cups water

Preparation
To make semolina halva, first place the sugar and water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. At the same time, start boiling the milk in a separate saucepan.
After melting the butter in a pot, add the semolina and roast it over the heat until its color changes.
Slowly add the syrup and then the hot milk to the roasted semolina.

You need to be careful as the syrup may splash. Keep the lid closed until the initial splashing stops.
