İbrahim Tatlıses: I was defrauded of 4 million dollars
İbrahim Tatlıses made headlines with his remarks on a television program he attended. Tatlıses revealed that he was defrauded in İzmir and lost millions of dollars.
Describing the process of leaving Istanbul and settling in İzmir, Tatlıses stated that he was defrauded during this period and lost approximately 4 million dollars.
Stating that he is now more cautious following his loss, Tatlıses said, "I am compassionate, but my conscience does not allow for certain things." The artist, who expressed that he had experienced "disloyalty" in Istanbul, noted that he also suffered a heavy financial blow in İzmir.
"WHEN SHE IS IN A TIGHT SPOT, SHE SAYS 'I AM HIS DAUGHTER'"
Touching upon family grievances, Tatlıses said that the behavior he encountered from his closest circle saddened him. Expressing his disappointment with the saying, "Even a scorpion would not do to a relative what a relative does to a relative," the artist alleged that his son, Ahmet Tatlı, sold his apartments in Manisa and did not share the proceeds with his siblings.
Criticizing his daughter Dilan Çıtak as well, Tatlıses remarked, "When she is in a tight spot, she says 'I am İbrahim Tatlıses's daughter,' but when she is not in a tight spot, she says 'I don't know him.'"
