The opening was attended by Iran's Consul General in Istanbul, Ahmed Mohammadi, as well as figures from the art community.

The exhibition features works in which the artist reflects the nature of humanity and love onto canvas using traditional calligraphy forms.

'I EXPLORE NATURE, LOVE, AND NOTHINGNESS IN MY WORKS'

Speaking to an AA reporter, Rashavand stated that he has been living in Turkey for 6 years and said, "I opened my second solo exhibition this year. In this exhibition, I have 17 works belonging to the art of modern calligraphy. In these works, I took the art of calligraphy as a form and expressed my feelings by transforming it into painting."

Expressing that he has been involved in art for 43 years, Rashavand said, "I have always explored 3 main themes in my works. One of them is nature, one is love, and one is on nothingness. After all, a human being is nothing. We have a very small place among those living in this universe. That is why we are nothing, but when this nothingness is love, it takes shape and becomes important. These three main themes are in every work of mine, I hope they will continue to be so in the future."

The exhibition can be visited every day except Sunday between 10:00 and 20:00 until May 11.
