Ali Dinçer, the District Youth and Sports Director of Çine, a district in Aydın, targeted 40 celebrities in a post on his social media account, using the phrase: "Here are the goods to be boycotted."
While this post caused a major stir in a short time, it also sparked public backlash.

İrem Derici, who was among the 40 celebrities listed in Dinçer's post and had not made any posts regarding a consumer boycott, announced that she has initiated legal action against Çine District Youth and Sports Director Ali Dinçer. Derici has filed a compensation lawsuit against Dinçer.

İrem Derici lashed out at Ali Dinçer on her social media account for insulting her and many other artists.
Sharing a photo of herself on stage, İrem Derici reacted to Ali Dinçer with the words: "Psst, look at me, this is not a free-for-all! I will show those who need to be shown what a 'good' is and what it is not. Fear the wrath of Beton. Actually, don't just fear, TREMBLE!"
