Is Avrupa Yakası returning? Gülse Birsel explains

Gülse Birsel, the screenwriter of Avrupa Yakası, one of the most beloved productions in television history that aired between 2004 and 2009, has made a statement regarding claims that the show will return to screens. 

In her post, Birsel denied the rumors, stating, "I apologize for the disappointment I caused to friends and acquaintances who have been calling me with joy since this morning."

“The news that 'Avrupa Yakası is returning' is a lie. The person who made up the story even went on at length, making up details about whether the characters are divorced, if they have children, which actors will be involved, and when we are going on set. I apologize for the disappointment I caused to friends and acquaintances who have been calling me with joy since this morning."
