Famous actor Taner Ölmez announced that he has taken steps toward a revival of the hit series Medcezir, which aired years ago on Star TV and garnered significant attention. Airing between 2013 and 2015, Medcezir was beloved by a wide audience and left its mark on an unforgettable era.
Appearing as a guest on the program Bu Gece, hosted by İbrahim Selim, Taner Ölmez made noteworthy remarks regarding a potential revival of the series. Ölmez, who brought the character of "Mert" to life in Medcezir, stated that he has discussed the matter with his former co-stars. He said the following:
"I ran into Ece Yörenç and Serenay Sarıkaya last year. I said, 'Let's remake Medcezir years later.' I told them, 'I'm in, and we can talk to Çağatay Ulusoy and Barış Falay as well.' I would love to be part of such a project; if it happens, it happens one day."
Taner Ölmez, who is married to actress Ece Çeşmioğlu and is a father of two, is currently in the spotlight for his role in the series Deha.
