Composer and pianist Can Yapıcıoğlu, originally from İzmir, was born in Akhisar on March 23, 1992. He began learning piano with his father, Mesut Yapıcıoğlu, who graduated from the Istanbul State Conservatory's Violin department. His compositions for school series orchestras and his school choir during his youth were performed many times by university academic orchestras.
