Işın Karaca announced that she was not allowed into Greece in a post on her social media account. Using the phrase "Reporting from Athens," the famous singer continued her words as follows:

"Do you see these papers in my hand, friends? My entry into Athens has been rejected.

Why? Because; in 2024, I performed the songs 'Ne Mutlu Türküm Diyene' (How Happy Is the One Who Says I Am a Turk) and 'İzmir’in Dağlarında Çiçekler Açar' (Flowers Bloom in the Mountains of İzmir) in Komotini.

My daughter and my husband were able to enter. Their entry was granted. But I was deported.

It seems mine is a national issue. It is the most absurd treatment I have ever seen in my life.

There is no one to even give us a glass of water. Thank you to them. We have been here for hours. They are going to send us back to our country."

The famous singer rebelled against the situation, stating that they were declared enemies in a place they had come to as tourists.
