Claims were made that 81-year-old Orhan Gencebay had been placed under medical observation in a hospital due to suspected Covid-19.
Reports suggesting that the artist had been hospitalized after falling ill with a high fever quickly became a topic of discussion.
Gencebay's life partner, Sevim Emre, responded to these claims.
In a post on her social media account, Emre stated that the reports were not true and used the following words:
"This news is baseless. Orhan is as strong as a fortress."
