Model and actress Itır Esen has taken the first step toward marriage with her manager Engin Aykanat, with whom she has been in a relationship for some time. The couple's engagement took place in a simple ceremony attended by their families and close friends.
At the ceremony, the engagement rings were placed by Esen's co-star from the series "Gaddar," Çağatay Ulusoy. The fact that Ulusoy attended the ceremony with his girlfriend Aslıhan Malbora was also among the details that stood out in the posts about the night.
Photos shared from the engagement ceremony quickly drew attention on social media. While many users sent congratulatory messages to the couple, comments like "May you be next" were made to the famous actor after Çağatay Ulusoy placed the rings.
Itır Esen and Çağatay Ulusoy had previously appeared together in the series "Gaddar." The duo played the characters of siblings in the show.
Esen was selected as the winner of Miss Turkey in 2017; however, her crown was revoked due to a post she made on her social media account following the competition. After the organization's decision, Aslı Sümen, who was the runner-up in the competition, was declared the winner.
