Judicial control for Simge Sağın and İlkay Şencan

Judicial control for Simge Sağın and İlkay Şencan

As part of the operations conducted by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Narcotics Branch teams in coordination with the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a number of famous names were detained in the morning on charges of supplying, using, and possessing narcotics.

Simge Sağın, İbrahim Çelikkol, Melek Mosso, Deha Bilimlier, Mustafa Ceceli, Ersay Üner, Bengü Erden, Aslı Sipahi Hacısüleymanoğlu, and İlkay Şencan, who were detained as part of the operation, were referred to the Council of Forensic Medicine to provide blood and hair samples. Following the sampling procedures, the suspects were referred to the Beykoz Courthouse to have their statements taken.

Among those referred to the court following the prosecutor's interrogation, İbrahim Çelikkol, Mustafa Ceceli, Deha Bilimlier, Ersay Üner, Bengü Erden, and Aslı Sipahi Hacısüleymanoğlu were released after their statements were taken by the prosecutor.

The court decided to impose a judicial control measure in the form of a "travel ban" on singer Simge Sağın and producer İlkay Şencan. Singer Melek Mosso, whose statement was taken as part of the investigation, was released following the judicial proceedings.
