Content creator Medo Halimy, who was living in a tent in Gaza and sharing his daily life, has been killed in an Israeli airstrike on the city of Khan Yunis.
Talal Murad, a friend who appeared in videos with him and survived the attack with injuries, shared the news of Medo's death. In a message posted in his memory, Murad said, "My best friend Medo Halimy died in my arms. We did everything together, we laughed, we cried, we walked for hours without stopping, we ran a business together, but unfortunately, we did not die together."
Medo's followers have shared thousands of messages on social media in his memory. In an interview with a media outlet in June, Medo and Talal had stated, "No matter what happens, no matter under what conditions, we will survive and we will live. We cannot be defeated. We are very strong people and no matter what happens, we will live."
