Mabel Matiz postpones concerts due to 'Covid'
Artist Mabel Matiz has announced that his concerts scheduled for July 17-18 at the Harbiye Open-Air Stage have been postponed.
Matiz shared with his fans on his social media account that his concert was postponed due to an "upper respiratory tract infection linked to Covid."
Making a statement on his social media account, Matiz used the following expressions:
"ANNOUNCEMENT
I would like to inform you that I am regretfully forced to postpone our concerts, which were planned to take place at the Harbiye Open-Air Stage on July 17-18 and for which all tickets were sold out, due to the Covid I am currently experiencing and the resulting upper respiratory tract infection.
Although treatment continued until the last minute in order to meet with you, my doctors and my team have concluded that I need a little more time to fully recover. I am very sorry that I am not in a condition to take the stage and give you the concert you deserve.
In order to offer you a healthier concert experience, we are not canceling these two concerts, but rather, asking for your understanding, postponing them to a later date. As soon as the information regarding the new dates is finalized, I will announce it here again.
With my sincerest apologies and love,
Mabel."
