Mahsun Kırmızıgül joins the Mabel Matiz debate! 'Don't look for immorality in films and songs...'
Before his concert in Cyprus, Mahsun Kırmızıgül shared his assessments regarding the music industry in Turkey. Stating that there are few strong vocalists in the new generation, Kırmızıgül also reacted to the debates surrounding Mabel Matiz's song "Ha Leylim."
Performing in Cyprus, Mahsun Kırmızıgül met with members of the press before his concert to answer questions. Evaluating the current state of the music industry, Kırmızıgül drew attention to the scarcity of strong vocalists coming from the new generation.
CRITICISM FROM KIRMIZIGÜL TOWARD NEW GENERATION SINGERS
Assessing the new names emerging in the Turkish music market, Kırmızıgül stated that the number of strong and unique performers is limited.
Kırmızıgül remarked, "There aren't many great voices coming up. There are only 4 or 5 good vocalists in Turkey. There are very few people from the new generation who can claim to be top-tier or who sing with the depth that we do."

Sharing his views on the debates surrounding Mabel Matiz's song and music video "Ha Leylim," as well as the ban imposed on the work, Kırmızıgül opposed the practice of debating morality through works of art.
The artist stated, "Let us not look for immorality in films and songs. Those who commit corruption are more dangerous than these..." he said.
