Maiden's Tower opens to visitors!
It has been announced that the Maiden's Tower, one of the symbols of Istanbul, has opened to visitors as of today following a 2-year restoration.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism's General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums announced that the Maiden's Tower has opened to visitors as of today, following the completion of restoration work that began in 2021.
The statement noted, "Due to the coastal arrangement works in Üsküdar and Salacak, transportation will be provided from the Karaköy Pier; boat services will run every half hour between 09:30 and 17:00."
