Mansion of FETÖ fugitive Akın İpek sold for a record price

The mansion of FETÖ fugitive Akın İpek in Bebek, Istanbul, had been put up for auction by the TMSF with an estimated value of 750 million Turkish Lira.

In a statement released by the TMSF following the auction, it was announced that the mansion was sold for 1 billion 100 million Turkish Lira.

The statement issued by the TMSF included the following remarks:

"The auction for the mansion located in the Bebek neighborhood of Beşiktaş district, Istanbul, on block 1259, parcels 132 and 133, which was offered for sale by Koza-İpek Holding AŞ via open bid and auction method with an estimated value of 750,000,000 TL, was held on 27.06.2024, with 4 participants continuing in the auction. As a result of the three-hour auction, the highest bid was 1,100,000,000 TL."

HE HAD LOST TWO LAWSUITS

There are 2 structures on the block 1259, parcel 132, which is the subject of the sale. The building named 'White Mansion', which is a second-degree historical monument, has two basement floors, a ground floor, one regular floor, an attic, and a terrace.

Furthermore, the structure has a gross indoor usage area of 695 square meters and a 208-square-meter terrace. The other structure, called the 'Brown Mansion', consists of a ground floor and a regular floor. The Brown Mansion also has a gross indoor usage area of 230 square meters.

On the other hand, Akın İpek, who lives in the UK as a FETÖ fugitive, had lost two lawsuits he filed against Turkey in international arbitration courts.
