Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara are back in court

Tensions remain high between Galatasaray's star footballer Mauro Icardi and his ex-wife Wanda Nara, from whom he separated last year. The couple has once again been brought to court, this time over allegations of "child abandonment."

According to reports from Habertürk, Argentine media outlets state that Icardi filed the lawsuit citing Nara's frequent business trips to Mexico and the United States as the reason.

ICARDI'S "ABANDONMENT" ACCUSATION

Mauro Icardi applied to the court, claiming that Nara does not spend enough time with their children. It is reported that the footballer characterized Nara's busy work schedule and international travel as "abandoning her children."

NARA'S STERN RESPONSE

Wanda Nara responded sharply to the allegations. Denying Icardi's accusations, Nara stated that she had submitted her work contracts and travel dates to the court. Nara remarked:

"Abandonment is not paying child support. My travels were entirely for work. The real abandonment is not returning to your country to see your daughters during breaks in the FIFA schedule."

Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara married in 2014. The couple had two daughters together. However, throughout their marriage, they were frequently in the headlines due to rumors of infidelity and disputes. Having finally parted ways last year, the couple is now back in the spotlight with a new legal battle involving their children.
