Kanal D's hit series İnci Taneleri, written by and starring Yılmaz Erdoğan, is expanding its cast. Melek Baykal will join the series, which already features names such as Yılmaz Erdoğan, Hazar Ergüçlü, Selma Ergeç, Güven Kıraç, and Cihan Kubilay.
According to a report by Müge Dağıstanlı, the famous actress Baykal will portray a woman who once worked in a pavilion and becomes a pavilion owner years later. The veteran actress had recently stated, "If I am to return to the screen, it must be a project that I am satisfied with. Not everything is about money." The 69-year-old Melek Baykal most recently starred in the series Yandaki Oda alongside Şevval Sam and Caner Cindoruk.
