Singer Merve Özbey had an unfortunate accident at a festival concert she attended in Afyonkarahisar. Özbey, who lost her balance and fell down the stairs while taking a break from her concert, received initial medical attention from health teams following the incident.
After the intervention by the teams called backstage, Özbey was taken to the nearest regional hospital for a check-up. The artist, who returned to Istanbul after the examinations, announced that she would continue her treatment with her own doctor.
In a statement on her social media account, Özbey noted that initial assessments suggested the injury was to her arm, but the actual problem turned out to be in her foot.
The famous singer stated, "I fell down the stairs while I was taking a break from the concert. We have now arrived in Istanbul and are going to our own doctor. It was said to be the arm, but unfortunately, it is the foot. I will try to return to you as quickly as possible. I will try to make it to the upcoming concerts."
Özbey expressed that she wants to return to the stage and make it to her scheduled concerts as soon as possible.
