Mesut Akusta recounts how he cheated death
Actor Mesut Akusta revealed in a program he attended that he cheated death as a child. Akusta said, "My teacher punched me in the head at school. I suffered a brain hemorrhage and cheated death."
'Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu', 'Ezel', 'Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz' and 'Teşkilat', known for roles in series such as these, actor Mesut Akusta said he cheated death during his middle school years.
Participating in the program titled 'Bambaşka Sohbetler', Akusta said, "After finishing primary school, we moved to Afyon, my mother's hometown. When my father passed away, we moved from Afyon to Ankara. I started middle school in Afyon. I didn't have a school life; I had a brain hemorrhage when I was in the 8th grade. It was caused by our teacher punching me in the head... I first went into a coma at school, they took me to the hospital, I seemed fine, then I went into a coma again at midnight" and added:
'I HAD TO QUIT FOOTBALL'
"The doctors said, 'There is nothing we can do here, you need to take him to Ankara.' They took me to the Neurosurgery Department at Hacettepe University Hospital, where I received treatment...
I had to quit football, I became unable to do anything, because I cannot take a blow to my head for the rest of my life... Even when I get a haircut at the barber, I protect my head; it's something that remained from those years... My school period ended there... After moving to Ankara, I did many jobs..."
