It was revealed that theater actor Metin Akpınar, who has been married to Göksel Akpınar for 62 years and was thought to have no children, had twins named Duygu and Sevgi from a one-night stand years ago.

Veteran actor Metin Akpınar made the following statement after learning he had twins named Duygu and Sevgi:

"36 years ago, I had a one-night stand with someone I met at an artistic event in Antalya. After that incident, we never met or communicated again. 24 years later, one day the twin sisters reached out to me and said that I was their father. Of course, I was very surprised and shaken..."

Metin Akpınar had a short-term relationship with a woman named Suphiye in 1987, which resulted in the birth of twins Duygu Nebioğlu and Sevgi Nebioğlu in 1988.

After being abandoned by their mother, Duygu Nebioğlu and Sevgi Nebioğlu grew up in a children's home until they were 6 years old. The two sisters were adopted in 1994 by Özdener Nebioğlu and Emine Nebioğlu from Akseki.

After learning at the age of 21 that Metin Akpınar was her biological father, Duygu Nebioğlu applied to the court for a paternity suit and requested a DNA test.

The case, which was heard at the Antalya Akseki Civil Court of First Instance under a confidentiality order, concluded, and the DNA test confirmed that Duygu Nebioğlu is the biological daughter of Metin Akpınar.

Initially, it was thought that Metin Akpınar had only one daughter, but it was later revealed that Duygu Nebioğlu had a twin sister named Sevgi.

81-year-old Metin Akpınar, who has no children from his marriage to Göksel Akpınar in 1961, learned about his extramarital daughters 10 years ago.
